All referrals will require an Initial session that is attended by the parent(s) only. Lena accepts the following referrals:

Assessments
Lena has extensive expertise in Autism, ADHD, and cognitive assessments, helping to identify developmental and learning challenges in children and adolescents. All assessments are completed in the clinic utilising a range of assessment procedures such as parent interviews, child observations, school information, questionnaires, and standardised assessment tools.
ADHD Assessments
This service provides a comprehensive assessment of symptoms and impairments related to ADHD symptoms in the school, social, and family domains and common co-occurring problems and disorders in children and youth aged 6 years and above. The Conners Behaviour Rating Scales and Wechsler cognitive assessment (WPPSI, WISC or WAIS) are utilised during the assessment. ADHD Assessments are completed at all clinics.

Approximate fee including an assessment report is $1500 - $1700.
Autism Assessments
A multi-disciplinary approach is taken when assessing Autism in individuals. It is done in partnership with a paediatrician or psychiatrist. Prior to accepting the referral, a paediatrician referral must be received by the clinic. Without a paediatric referral, there may be ramifications for NDIS funding assessment procedures.
Autism Assessments are completed at Melbourne Children’s Clinic (Surrey Hills)
Cognitive Assessments
The Wechsler assessment scales, including the WISC (for children), WAIS (for adults), or WPPSI (for preschoolers) will be utilised and is designed to measure cognitive abilities and intellectual functioning across various domains. Cognitive Assessments are completed at all clinics.
